It's starting to get bloody cold over here, so we've decided to stock up on some tees to keep you lot all drum&bass, dubstepped up in the winter months. Granted you won't survive long in just a t-shirt but its a start innit. New T-shirts from DSR, Hench & Soundtrax in the Merchandise section now. Nice and large to keep you looking Chrissy Chris - if your that way inclined. Its a seriously large week for Promos aswell with massive releases from the DSR family and Jakes Hench outlet, Culture Shock on Ram, Q Project on Hospital, Calibre on Signature plus loads more on labels such as Sudden Def, Blindside, Project 51, Shadow Law and the mighty C4C. Record of the Week goes to Cooh and his Moth Machine EP. Featuring 6 cuts of pure industrial revolution (not for the easy listener) this is sure to keep you banging from wall to wall if you like the odd pot and pan. I know I do. Featuring artwork by the man himself its not a bad little cover either. So well its cheap for a 3 peice innit as it's record of the week. Click Click |

Back In! - Ed Rush & Optical / Sonic & Silver Pacman (The Upbeats remix) / Rocket Launcher VIP [Vinyl X1] VRS021 Following on from the Ram records outstanding remix of Pacman, The Upbeats come along and keep the momentum dance-floor oriented. The build-up is what separates this from the Ram version, creating a great drawn out climax. Banged about by every big-hitter in the scene at the moment this is a serious edition to the Virus back-cat, flip over for a good little re-rub of Sonic & Silvers 'Rocket Launcher' and its turns into a very versatile dancefloor 12". Recommended. |

Seba & Krazy Arsenic / Finola [Vinyl X1] INN026 Seba & Krazy are the latest additions to the Innerground family with their epic single Arsenic / Finola. Harping back to the days of old when all that mattered was a beat and a b-line, nothing else. A tidy and subtle track, Arsenic slides through the intro and background vocals to release a soft harmony with a deep melodic bassline. Finola has been floating around for a while in DJ Marky's sets and has taken many a crowd by storm. That signature amen break rolls in after a few bars and truly sets the tome for the rest of the track. |

Breakage Callahan / Untitled [Vinyl] SBOY014 As a pioneer of the drum and bass / dubstep sound, Breakage does not disappoint with this new 12". Callahan with Untitled on the flip. Both Dubstep & Drum and Bass DJs are clamoring for his tunes and with Burial requesting Untitled for his forthcoming mix CD, be sure not to miss another slice of Breakage genius. Grab the white label whilst you can because the artwork for this release is a bit boring.. |

Martyn Natural Selection (Flying Lotus’ Cleanse Mix) / Vancouver (2562’s Puur Natuur Mix) [Vinyl] 3024003 [Promo - Full Artwork] Here it is, the one many of us have been waiting for, Martyn has employed the remix skills of two of the biggest names in underground music right now 2562 & Flying Lotus to remix the tunes from Martyn’s previous 3024 release ‘Natural Selection’ and ‘Vancouver’. 2562 takes his signature 2-step techno hybrid visions to a new level of depth on his remix of Vancouver, a spiralling hypnotic rhythm and lush bassline that would naturally work great in a big club, while Flying Lotus uses his frantic glitch-hop skills to carve out a new way of viewing ‘Natural Selection’ with his ‘Cleanse Mix’. |
