If you had'nt noticed its Movember. And that means 2 things; stupid moustaches and Poppys (not poppers).. Poppy's - the red things you wear to say big up to the old blokes who fought the war. Anyway... we've got our poppys and our stupid moustaches, but can't hack it so have gone back to being normal geezas who look moody and walk around in the rain with our hoods up. We also noticed that now (in England at least) is feels like the prefect time to listen to drum'n'bass. Its dark, windy and bloody thought provoking - well for drumfunk it is at least. Anyway we're all feeling the pinch, but at least we've got the finest drum'n'bass an dubstep to keep us chipper. Could be worse. Till next week, Nice1Ollie |

TRG Decisions / Back In The Days / Harajuka [Vinyl] TEMPA036 This 12" features three sumptuous tracks which sidestep booming bass and LFO in favour of lovingly engineered low-end, subtle sweeps and syncopated bleeps and drums which betray TRG's Eastern European roots. You'll find three ornate progressive techno tunes which keep the ravers moving well into closing time with a vibe and swing that's reminiscent of key tracks which dominated the early, halcyon days of Garage sets. Bristolian tastemaker Appleblim also found it impossible to highlight just one TRG production to feature on Dubstep Allstars 6. |
